Tasty Ears On Location With The Shimmering Stars

Last night we got the opportunity to film The Shimmering Stars in their funky East Van jam space.  They performed their songs East Van Girls & Sabians.  Here are a few photos from the video shoot. 

And yes they are as cool and as nice as they come across in their songs and live shows. Thanks to Rory, Andrew and Brent for letting us come into their East Van Sanctum.

Watch out it's a "Stampede"...Time lapse!

I teamed up with Tasty Ears to shoot local Vancouver painter Zoe Pawlak.  The piece is called "Stampede".   The painting and the video were displayed in the window of Lululemon on the corner of Cambie & Broadway in downtown Vancouver.

The time lapse was shot in Zoe's studio over the course of ten hours with a photo being taken every thirteen seconds.  At the end of the day we had well over two thousand photos to edit to make this video.  Check out other beautiful pieces of Zoe's at her website http://www.zoepawlak.com/

Bonnie & Clyde Video

Here is the video that we shot with Zach Gray of The Zolas & Laura Smith of Rococode singing a duet for Vancouver Is Awesome's Valentine special "Get Your Heart On".  The Song is called "Bonnie & Clyde" written by Serge Gainsbourg.

Tasty Ears Bonnie & Clyde Shoot

Late last night I found myself in an abandoned barn filming a music video with  Zachary Gray of The Zolas, Laura Smith of Rococode, James Pettit of Tasty Ears, George Couling of Knuckelduster Music Inc. and a horse named Sprite. The video is for the site Vancouver Is Awesome.  This project is for a Valentines special, where they take members from different local Vancouver bands and pair them up to form a special duet.


Here are a few photos from the shoot. The video will be released on one of the days leading up to Valentines day on Vancouver is Awesome's website.

Tasty Ears On Location With The SSRIs Video

Here is the video I shot with Tasty Ears On Location with the SSRIs. They packed in all their instruments plus a portable generator and rocked out in a beautiful wooded area near Vancouver.  It was a blast!
