I was able to combine my love of music and passion for photography this summer at the Squamish Music Festival. I was hired to shoot for one of the festivals sponsors LG Electronics to capture their Life's Good presence at the music festival. It was a great assignment being in a beautiful location like Squamish on a sunny summers day listening to cool music and capturing moments as they played out. Life's Good!
Here are some photos from the shoot I did recently for the guys from Smak Fast Food, Seamus Dixon and Brendan Ladner.

For this "Undercover series" the guys from Portage & Main got their fans on Facebook and Twitter to suggest song ideas, and then the band would select the best songs suggested and put it to a vote. And the song with the most votes got covered.
So songs were suggested and songs were polled and as a result the first video I shot for the "Under Cover Series" was the guys covering Queen's iconic song "Fat Bottomed Girls". And as all good covers go the guys made it their own by putting their Portage & Main spin on both covers.
The second video is a cover of Calvin Harris' "Feel So Close". A song that strongly resonated with one of the bands front men Harold Donnelly. For this song they called in some favours and got some friends from other popular Vancouver bands to come in to their studio and help them create the vision and sound they wanted to capture for this cover.
